홍콩-주하이-마카오 대교(HZMB) 24시간 운영
신선 농산물 수입, 10월 1일부터
식품안전센터(CFS) 대변인은 9월 7일 홍콩-주하이-마카오 대교(HZMB)를 통해 수입되는 신선 농산물의 운영 시간이 10월 1일(목)부터 24시간으로 연장된다고 밝혔다. 이는 다양한 식품 분야의 운영 요구에 맞춰 신선 식품의 도착 일정을 더욱 유연하게 조정할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다.
중국 본토 당국과 협의하고 업계의 의견을 수렴한 결과, CFS(식품안전센터)는 홍콩으로 수입되는 신선식품의 HZMB(홍콩-마카오 국경 검문소) 통관 시간을 기존 16시간(오후 1시부터 다음 날 오전 5시까지)에서 24시간으로 연장하기로 결정했다. 이에 따라 10월 1일 0시부터 지정된 신선식품(냉동 및 냉장 가금류, 육류 및 사냥감, 계란, 우유, 신선 수산물, 채소 및 과일)을 육로로 중국 본토에서 홍콩으로 운송하는 차량은 HZMB를 통해 언제든지 홍콩에 입국할 수 있다.
식품 안전을 위해 CFS는 HZMB 홍콩항을 통해 신선식품을 수입하는 차량에 대해 검사를 실시한다. 검사에는 수입 서류 세부 사항 확인, 실물 검사, 신선식품 샘플 채취 및 검사가 포함된다
대변인은 또한 만캄 국경 검문소를 통해 홍콩으로 수입되는 신선식품 차량의 통관 시간 및 절차는 변경되지 않는다고 덧붙였다.

Fresh produce imports to begin October 1
A spokesperson for the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) announced on September 7 that the operating hours for fresh produce imported via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) will be extended to 24 hours starting Thursday, October 1. This measure is intended to allow for more flexible scheduling of fresh food arrivals to meet the operational demands of various food sectors.
Following consultations with mainland Chinese authorities and feedback from the industry, the CFS has decided to extend the customs clearance time for fresh food imported into Hong Kong at the HZMB (Hong Kong-Macau Border Checkpoint) from the existing 16 hours (from 1:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following day) to 24 hours. Accordingly, starting at midnight on October 1, vehicles transporting designated fresh food (frozen and chilled poultry, meat and game, eggs, milk, fresh seafood, vegetables, and fruits) by land from mainland China to Hong Kong may enter Hong Kong at any time via the HZMB.
To ensure food safety, the CFS conducts inspections on vehicles importing fresh food through the HZMB Hong Kong Port. Inspections include verifying details of import documents, physical inspections, and the collection and testing of fresh food samples.
The spokesperson also added that the customs clearance times and procedures for vehicles importing fresh food into Hong Kong via the Man Kam border checkpoint remain unchanged.
