타이산 원자력 발전소 소규모 누출, 0등급 편차로 분류
홍콩 당국은 광둥성 타이산 원자력 발전소에서 국부적인 누출을 동반한 소규모 운영 사고가 발생했으나, 안전 장벽은 온전한 상태를 유지했으며 방사능 유출은 없었다고 발표했다.
보안국 대변인은 광둥성 원자력 비상위원회 사무실로부터 발전소 운영 사고에 대한 통보를 받았다고 밝혔다.
8월 24일, 2호기가 안전하게 가동 중이던 당시, 현장 직원이 정기 순찰 중 이송조 경계문에서 소규모 누출과 인접 바닥에 소량의 물이 고이는 것을 발견했다.
당국은 이번 누출이 발전소 안전, 직원 건강, 주변 주민 또는 환경에 어떠한 영향도 미치지 않았다고 확인했다. 국제 원자력 및 방사선 사고 기준(INRA)과 관련 원자력 안전 규정에 따라, 이번 사건은 8월 25일 공식적으로 0등급 누출로 분류되었다.
이번 사건은 해당 발전소에서 올해 발생한 두 번째 운영 사고이다. 앞서 4월에는 3호기 증기 발생기에서 칩 모양의 이물질 두 개가 발견되었으며, 당시에도 방사능 유출이나 안전 위험 없이 처리되어 0등급으로 분류되었다.
타이산 원자력발전합작회사는 규제 당국에 보고서를 제출하고, 내부 경험 공유 검토를 시작했으며, 모든 세부 정보를 공식 웹사이트에 공개했다.
Small Leak at Taishan Nuclear Power Plant Classified as Level 0 Deviation
Hong Kong authorities announced that a small operational accident involving a localized leak occurred at the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant in Guangdong Province, but safety barriers remained intact and there was no radioactive leakage.
A spokesperson for the Security Bureau stated that they received notification of the plant's operational accident from the office of the Guangdong Nuclear Emergency Commission.
On August 24, while Unit 2 was operating safely, on-site personnel discovered a small leak at the transfer perimeter gate and a small amount of water pooling on the adjacent floor during a routine patrol.
Authorities confirmed that the leak had no impact on plant safety, employee health, surrounding residents, or the environment. In accordance with the International Nuclear and Radiological Accident Standards (INRA) and relevant nuclear safety regulations, the incident was officially classified as a Level 0 leak on August 25.
This incident is the second operational accident to occur at the plant this year. Earlier in April, two chip-shaped foreign objects were discovered in the steam generator of Unit 3; at that time, they were also handled without radioactive leakage or safety risks and were classified as Level 0.
Taishan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. submitted a report to regulatory authorities, began a review of internal experience sharing, and disclosed all details on its official website.
