스타페리 요금 인상 신청 심의
교통자문위원회는 8월 27일 스타페리(Star Ferry)가 제출한 센트럴-침사추이 및 완차이-침사추이 노선 요금 인상 신청을 심의했다.
황쓰춘(Wong Sze-chun) TAC 위원장은 "위원들은 스타페리의 재정 및 운영 실적과 서비스 및 수익 증대를 위해 시행된 조치들을 검토했다. 요금 인상 신청을 심의함에 있어 위원들은 페리 서비스의 장기적인 지속 가능성과 제안된 요금 인상에 대한 대중의 수용 가능성을 포함한 모든 관련 요소를 고려하고 균형 있게 검토했습니다."라고 밝혔다. TAC는 심의 결과를 정부에 제출하여 행정장관의 검토를 받을 예정이다.
이번 신청안이 통과될 경우 스타페리 운임은 평균 18%에서 19% 수준 오르게 된다.
평일·주말 성인 요금 HK$0.8~1.0 인상제출된 인상안에 따르면 센트럴-침사추이 노선 상층(Upper Deck) 성인 평일 요금은 기존 HK$5.0에서 HK$6.0으로 HK$1.0 인상된다.
주말 및 공휴일 요금 역시 HK$6.5에서 HK$7.5로 오른다. 비교적 저렴했던 하층(Lower Deck) 평일 요금은 HK$4.0에서 HK$4.8로, 주말 요금은 HK$5.6에서 HK$6.6으로 조정된다.완차이-침사추이 노선도 동일한 인상 폭이 적용되어 평일 HK$6.0, 주말 HK$7.5로 변경된다. 어린이 및 장애인 요금 역시 HK$0.3~0.5 수준 인상되며, 정기 이용객을 위한 월간 승차권(Monthly Ticket)은 기존 HK$190에서 HK$230으로 HK$40 오른다.
Review of Star Ferry Fare Increase Application
On August 27, the Transport Advisory Committee reviewed the application submitted by Star Ferry for fare increases on the Central-Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai-Tsim Sha Tsui routes.
Wong Sze-chun, Chairman of the Transport Advisory Committee (TAC), stated, "The committee members reviewed Star Ferry's financial and operational performance, as well as the measures implemented to enhance service and revenue. In reviewing the fare increase application, the members considered all relevant factors in a balanced manner, including the long-term sustainability of the ferry service and public acceptance of the proposed fare hike." The TAC plans to submit the review results to the government for review by the Chief Executive.
If the application is approved, Star Ferry fares will rise by an average of 18% to 19%. Weekday and Weekend Adult Fares to Increase by HK$0.8–1.0
According to the submitted fare increase proposal, the weekday adult fare for the Upper Deck on the Central-Tsim Sha Tsui line will increase by HK$1.0, from the existing HK$5.0 to HK$6.0.
Weekend and public holiday fares will also rise from HK$6.5 to HK$7.5. The relatively cheaper weekday fare for the Lower Deck will be adjusted from HK$4.0 to HK$4.8, and the weekend fare from HK$5.6 to HK$6.6. The same increase will apply to the Wan Chai-Tsim Sha Tsui line, changing to HK$6.0 on weekdays and HK$7.5 on weekends. Child and disabled fares will also increase by HK$0.3–0.5, and the Monthly Ticket for regular passengers will rise by HK$40, from the existing HK$190 to HK$230.
