홍콩 교육국, AI 리더십 연수
교육국은 초등학교 및 중등학교 교장과 중간 관리자를 대상으로 디지털 교육 발전 방향 및 추진 전략에 대한 심층적인 이해를 돕고, 학교 현장에 맞춰 AI 교육을 효과적으로 계획하고 지속적으로 시행하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 8월 24일과 25일 이틀간 AI 리더십 연수를 개최했다.
교육국이 앞서 발표한 초등학교 및 중등학교 디지털 교육 발전 청사진을 실행하기 위해 단계별 교사 전문성 개발 활동을 시작했다. 이번 연수는 교장과 중간 관리자의 역량 강화를 통해 기술 기반 교육을 주도하고 전략적으로 계획할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 중점을 두었다.
초등학교와 중등학교(특수학교 포함) 과정으로 나뉘어 진행된 이번 연수는 대면 및 온라인 방식으로 동시에 진행되었으며, 약 1,400명의 교장, 교감 및 관련 중간 관리자가 참여했다.
앞으로 교육부는 청사진 이행에 발맞춰 교사들에게 다양한 전문성 개발 활동을 지속적으로 제공한다. AI 리더십, AI와 교과목 결합, AI 활용 능력 등 다양한 주제에 걸친 단계별 전문성 개발 활동을 통해 교사와 학교 관리자의 AI 활용 능력과 교수 역량을 종합적으로 향상시키고, 교육계가 디지털 시대의 기회와 도전을 적극적으로 수용할 수 있도록 지원하고자 한다.
Hong Kong Education Bureau Holds AI Leadership Training
The Education Bureau held a two-day AI Leadership Training session on August 24 and 25 for principals and middle managers of primary and secondary schools. The purpose of the training was to foster an in-depth understanding of the direction and strategies for the development of digital education, and to explore ways to effectively plan and continuously implement AI education tailored to the school environment.
The Education Bureau has initiated phased teacher professional development activities to execute the previously announced Blueprint for the Development of Digital Education in Primary and Secondary Schools. This training focused on supporting principals and middle managers in leading and strategically planning technology-based education by strengthening their capabilities.
Divided into courses for primary schools and secondary schools (including special schools), the training was conducted simultaneously via in-person and online methods, with approximately 1,400 principals, vice-principals, and relevant middle managers participating.
Moving forward, the Education Bureau will continue to provide teachers with various professional development activities in line with the implementation of the Blueprint. Through step-by-step professional development activities covering various topics such as AI leadership, AI integration with subjects, and AI utilization skills, we aim to comprehensively enhance the AI utilization capabilities and teaching competencies of teachers and school administrators, and support the education sector in actively embracing the opportunities and challenges of the digital age.
