2026년 5월~7월 실업률
8월 20일, 통계청(C&SD)이 발표한 최신 노동력 통계(2026년 5월~7월 잠정치)에 따르면, 계절 조정 실업률은 2026년 5월~7월에 3.7%로 2026년 4월~6월과 동일한 수준을 기록했다. 불완전고용률은 2026년 4월~6월의 1.6%에서 2026년 5월~7월에 1.7%로 상승했다.
2026년 5월~7월과 2026년 4월~6월을 비교했을 때, 실업률(계절 조정 전)의 산업별 변동은 업종별로 차이를 보였다. 기초 및 상부구조 업종에서는 주로 감소세를 보였고, 소매업과 운송업에서는 주로 증가세를 보였다. 불완전고용률의 경우, 교육업에서 주로 증가세를 나타냈다.
총 고용자 수는 2026년 4월~6월 3,646,100명에서 2026년 5월~7월 3,647,600명으로 약 1,500명 증가했다. 같은 기간 동안 노동력 또한 3,785,800명에서 3,793,300명으로 약 7,500명 증가했다.
실업자 수(계절 조정 전)는 2026년 4월~6월 139,700명에서 2026년 5월~7월 145,700명으로 약 6,000명 증가했다. 같은 기간 동안 불완전 고용자 수도 62,400명에서 66,200명으로 약 3,800명 증가했다.

2026년 5월부터 7월까지 실시된 이번 조사는 홍콩 인구를 대표하도록 과학적으로 설계된 표본 추출 방식에 따라 선정된 약 25,000가구(65,000명)를 대상으로 진행되었다. 이 표본을 바탕으로 작성된 노동력 통계는 2026년 5월부터 7월까지의 3개월 이동 평균 기간을 반영한다.
Unemployment Rates May–July 2026
According to the latest labor force statistics (preliminary figures for May–July 2026) released by Statistics & Statistics (C&SD) on August 20, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for May–July 2026 stood at 3.7%, remaining at the same level as April–June 2026. The underemployment rate rose from 1.6% in April–June 2026 to 1.7% in May–July 2026.
When comparing May–July 2026 with April–June 2026, changes in the unemployment rate (unseasonally adjusted) varied by sector. Basic and superstructure sectors showed a predominantly downward trend, while retail and transportation sectors showed a predominantly upward trend. In the case of the underemployment rate, the education sector showed a predominantly upward trend.
The total number of employed persons increased by approximately 1,500, rising from 3,646,100 in April–June 2026 to 3,647,600 in May–July 2026. During the same period, the workforce also increased by approximately 7,500, rising from 3,785,800 to 3,793,300.
The number of unemployed persons (seasonally adjusted) increased by approximately 6,000, rising from 139,700 in April–June 2026 to 145,700 in May–July 2026. During the same period, the number of underemployed persons also increased by approximately 3,800, rising from 62,400 to 66,200.
Regarding the recently released unemployment figures, Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun stated, "The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 3.7% from May to July."
The survey, conducted from May to July 2026, covered approximately 25,000 households (65,000 people) selected using a scientifically designed sampling method to represent the population of Hong Kong. The labor force statistics based on this sample reflect a three-month moving average period from May to July 2026.
