중국 농산물, 세계로 진출
에릭찬 정무장관은 8월 14일, 오본토 고급 농산물이 홍콩의 국제 무역 플랫폼을 활용하여 해외 시장으로 진출할 수 있도록 지원하는 비즈니스 매칭 행사에 참석했다.
이번 "중국 본토 고급 농산물 '해외 진출' 교류 및 매칭 행사"는 홍콩 특별행정구 환경생태국(EEB), 농림축산식품부 농업무역진흥센터, 홍콩무역발전국이 공동으로 주최했다.
이날 행사에는 장용 주홍콩 중앙인민정부 연락사무소 부소장, 펑팅쥔 농림축산식품무역진흥센터 소장, 셰친완 환경생태국 장관 등 주요 인사들이 참석했다. 찬 장관은 “고품질 농산물 및 식품의 해외 시장 진출에는 효율적인 국제 무역 플랫폼, 전문적인 마케팅 서비스, 그리고 국제 표준과의 완벽한 조화가 필수적이며, 이 모든 것을 갖춘 곳이 바로 홍콩‘이라고 강조했다.
또한 홍콩이 기업들에게 "슈퍼 커넥터"이자 "슈퍼 부가가치 창출원" 역할을 한다고 언급하며, 중국 본토 기업들이 홍콩을 발판 삼아 "세계로 진출"함으로써 해외 지사를 처음부터 구축하지 않고도 시너지 효과를 얻을 수 있다고 덧붙였다.
Chinese Agricultural Products Expand into the Global Market
On August 14, Secretary for Government Affairs Eric Chan attended a business matching event designed to support high-end mainland Chinese agricultural products in entering overseas markets by utilizing Hong Kong's international trade platforms.
This "Exchange and Matching Event for the 'Overseas Expansion' of High-End Mainland Chinese Agricultural Products" was jointly hosted by the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Agriculture and Food Trade Centre of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Food, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Key figures attending the event included Chang Yong, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government of Hong Kong; Feng Tingjun, Director of the Agriculture and Food Trade Centre; and Xie Chin-wan, Secretary for the Environment and Ecology Bureau. Minister Chan emphasized, “Efficient international trade platforms, professional marketing services, and perfect alignment with international standards are essential for high-quality agricultural products and food products to enter overseas markets, and Hong Kong is the place that possesses all of these.”
He also noted that Hong Kong acts as a “super connector” and a “super value-added creator” for businesses, adding that mainland Chinese companies can leverage Hong Kong as a springboard to “expand globally,” thereby achieving synergy without having to establish overseas branches from scratch.
