셩문 터널서 관광버스 벽 충돌… 운전자 사망·어린이 47명 전원 무사
홍콩 셩문 터널(Shing Mun Tunnel) 내부에서 71세 관광버스 운전자가 운전 중 의식을 잃고 벽을 받는 사고가 발생했다.
긴급 구급대가 즉시 출동해 운전자를 병원으로 이송했으나 끝내 숨졌다. 버스에 탑승해 있던 어린이 47명은 상해 없이 전원 무사히 구조되었다.
사이쿵서 화재 발생… 오두막·스피드보트 소실 및 1명 부상
사이쿵 포토이오(Po Toi O) 마을의 미니버스 종점 인근에서 화재가 발생해 오두막 2채와 스피드보트 4대가 불에 탔다. 소방대원들이 출동해 진화 작업을 완료했으나, 이 과정에서 남성 1명이 부상을 입고 치료를 받고 있다.
보이스피싱에 속은 19세 대학생, 300만 홍콩달러 사기 혐의로 체포
중국 공안을 사칭한 전화금융사기(보이스피싱) 조직에 속은 19세 여대생이 경찰에 체포되었다.
피의자인 대학생 역시 초기에는 콜드콜(무작위 전화)을 받고 보이스피싱 조직에 속아 넘어간 피해자로 시작되었다.
범죄 조직은 "당신이 돈세탁 등 범죄 사건에 연루되었으니 무죄를 증명해야 한다"며 심리적으로 압박하고 가스라이팅을 진행했다.
이후 피의자는 "경찰 및 공안 조사에 협조하여 무죄를 입증하라"는 조직의 조종을 받아, 다른 피해자들을 직접 만나 돈을 수거하고 가짜 서류를 전달하는 현장 수거책(공범 및 가담자) 역할을 수행하게 되었다.
해당 학생은 자신의 무죄를 입증해야 한다는 범죄 조직의 자금 이동 지시를 그대로 따르다가 사기 사건에 휘말린 것으로 조사되었다.
'국가안보조례' 위반 사건서 첫 비징역형 판결… 19세 학생 봉사활동 명령
상업지구 화장실에 선동성 그래피티를 남긴 19세 학생 렁카이록(Leung Kai-lok)이 실형을 면하고 사회봉사명령을 받았다.
이는 홍콩의 '국가안보조례(Safeguarding National Security Ordinance)' 시행 이후 내려진 첫 비징역형 판결이다.

A 71-year-old tour bus driver lost consciousness while driving and crashed into a wall inside the Sheung Mun Tunnel in Hong Kong.
Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched and transported the driver to the hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. All 47 children on board the bus were rescued safely without injury.
Fire Breaks in Sai Kung… Cabins and Speedboats Destroyed, One Injured
A fire broke out near the minibus terminal in Po Toi O village, Sai Kung, burning down two cabins and four speedboats. Firefighters responded and extinguished the flames, but one man sustained injuries during the operation and is currently receiving treatment. 19-Year-Old University Student Scammed by Voice Phishing Arrested on Charges of Fraud Involving 3 Million Hong Kong Dollars
A 19-year-old female university student has been arrested by police after falling victim to a voice phishing ring impersonating Chinese public security officials.
The suspect, the university student, also began as a victim who was tricked by the voice phishing organization after receiving a cold call (random phone call).
The criminal organization psychologically pressured her and gaslighted her, stating, "You are implicated in criminal cases such as money laundering, so you must prove your innocence."
Subsequently, under the organization's manipulation to "cooperate with police and public security investigations to prove your innocence," the suspect took on the role of a field collector (accomplice and participant), meeting other victims in person to collect money and deliver fake documents.
Investigations revealed that the student became entangled in the fraud case while strictly following the criminal organization's instructions to move funds, which were intended to prove her innocence.
First Non-Imprisonment Sentence in 'National Security Ordinance' Violation Case... 19-Year-Old Student Ordered to Perform Community Service
Leung Kai-lok, a 19-year-old student who left inflammatory graffiti in a commercial district restroom, has avoided a prison sentence and received a community service order.
This is the first non-prison sentence handed down since the implementation of Hong Kong's Safeguarding National Security Ordinance.
