7세 소년, 중증 인플루엔자 A 감염으로 위중한 상태
보건부, 높은 독감 유행 위험 경고
홍콩 보건보호센터(CHP)는 8월 3일, 기저질환이 없는 7세 소년이 인플루엔자 A(H3)에 감염되어 위중한 상태로 병원에 입원했다고 밝혔다.
이 소년은 7월 27일 기침과 콧물 증상을 보였고, 8월 1일에는 발열 증상이 나타났다. 월요일에 의식이 저하되는 등 상태가 악화되어 프린세스 마가렛 병원 응급실로 이송된 후 소아 중환자실로 옮겨졌습니다. 쇼크와 뇌병증을 동반한 인플루엔자 A 감염으로 진단받았다.
홍콩의 인플루엔자 유행 시기가 6월 말에 시작되었다. 독감 활동이 여전히 높은 수준을 유지하고 있으며, 지난주 호흡기 검체 중 10.65%가 양성 반응을 보였고, 공공 병원 입원율은 인구 1만 명당 0.67명에 달했다.
홍콩 보건부는 특히 어린이와 노인들에게 증상이 나타나면 조기에 의료기관을 방문하고, 개인위생을 철저히 지키며, 어린이의 경우 상태 악화 여부를 면밀히 관찰할 것을 당부했다.

Health Department Warns of High Risk of Flu Outbreak
The Hong Kong Centre for Health Protection (CHP) announced on August 3 that a 7-year-old boy with no underlying medical conditions was admitted to the hospital in critical condition after contracting Influenza A (H3).
The boy exhibited symptoms of coughing and a runny nose on July 27, followed by a fever on August 1. His condition deteriorated on Monday, with a decline in consciousness, leading to his transfer to the emergency room at Princess Margaret Hospital, after which he was moved to the pediatric intensive care unit. He was diagnosed with an Influenza A infection accompanied by shock and encephalopathy.
The influenza season in Hong Kong began in late June. Flu activity remains at a high level; last week, 10.65% of respiratory samples tested positive, and the admission rate to public hospitals reached 0.67 per 10,000 inhabitants. The Hong Kong Department of Health urged people, especially children and the elderly, to visit a medical institution early if symptoms appear, maintain strict personal hygiene, and closely monitor children for any deterioration in their condition.
