식사중 날벼락, 가스레인지 폭발

 7월 30일 밤, 텔포드 플라자에 위치한 타오흥(Tao Heung) 레스토랑에서 카세트식 가스레인지가 폭발했다. 식사 중이던 사람들이 공포에 떨었지만, 다행히 인명 피해는 없었다고 경찰이 밝혔다.

손님들이 훠궈를 먹고 있던 테이블 위의 가스레인지에서 가스 누출이 발견되면서 발생했다. 

현장 사진에는 가스레인지의 가스통이 심하게 파손된 모습이 담겨 있는데, 보호 덮개가 날아가고 가스통 윗부분이 사라진 상태였다. 

 Portable Gas Stove Explodes at Tao Heung Restaurant in Telford Plaza

A portable cassette gas stove exploded at the Tao Heung restaurant in Telford Plaza on Thursday night (July 30), startling diners but leaving no one injured.  

1. Gas Leak and Explosion  

The incident took place at around 10:00 PM while customers were having hotpot. Restaurant staff reportedly noticed a gas leak coming from a portable stove on a dining table and called for assistance. Shortly after, the stove exploded with a loud bang, filling the dining room with a strong burning smell and causing panic among patrons.  

2. Scene Investigation  

Police arrived at the scene and confirmed that no diners or staff sustained injuries. Photos from the scene showed the stove's gas canister destroyed, with the top portion missing and the protective cover blown off. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the gas leak and explosion.
