태풍 노을 지난 홍콩 국제공항 운항 재개

오늘 일요일, 태풍 노을로 약 350편의 항공편이 취소되었지만 태풍이 점차 도시에서 멀어짐에 따라 T3로 하향 조정되었다.
공항당국에 따르면 오늘 오후에는 대부분의 항공편 운항이 재개될 것으로 예상된다.
공항 당국은 항공편 재조정 시스템을 통해 하루 동안 약 675편의 항공편을 처리할 것으로 예상한다고 전했다. 공항 서비스 운영 책임자는 저녁과 심야 시간에 공항이 매우 혼잡할 것이라고 말했다.
밀린 항공편을 처리하고 월요일 아침까지 정상 운영을 완전히 복구하기 위해 필요한 경우 3개의 활주로 모두 야간에 운영될 수 있다.
공항의 최신 운영 능력을 바탕으로 홍콩 천문대 및 민간항공국과 협력하여 항공편 일정을 조정할 것이며 정확한 출발 및 도착 시간은 기상 상황과 활주로 상태에 따라 달라질 것이라고 덧붙였다.
어제 25일 토요일 밤, 태풍이 최고조에 달했을 때, 주로 출국 승객 약 2,000명이 터미널에 발이 묶였다. 이에 600개의 추가 좌석과 휴대폰 충전소가 설치된 임시 대기 공간이 마련되었다.
약 100명의 공항 직원이 피해를 입은 승객들에게 물, 음식, 담요, 식사권 등을 나눠주는 데 투입되었고, 일부 식당과 상점은 24시간 영업을 계속했다.
공항 택시 대기표 시스템은 밤새 약 1,800개의 대기 번호를 발급했다. 최고조에 달했을 때는 거의 400명이 택시를 기다렸고, 평균 대기 시간은 약 1시간이었습니다. 새벽 4시쯤에는 대부분의 대기줄이 해소되었다.
Flight Operations Resuming: After Typhoon Noul caused the cancellation of around 350 flights, the Hong Kong Observatory downgraded the typhoon signal to Signal No. 3 (T3) as the storm moved away. Operations are expected to largely resume this afternoon.
Rescheduling & Runway Usage: The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) expects to handle approximately 675 flights today using its flight rescheduling system. To clear the backlog and fully restore normal operations by Monday morning, all three runways may operate overnight if necessary.
Heavy Terminal Crowds Expected: Officials warned that the airport will be extremely crowded during the evening and late-night hours as delayed flights are processed.
Support for Stranded Passengers: Around 2,000 passengers (mostly departing travelers) were stranded overnight on Saturday at the peak of the storm. In response, AAHK set up temporary waiting areas with 600 extra seats and phone charging stations, while around 100 staff members distributed water, food, blankets, and meal vouchers. Some airport eateries and shops operated 24 hours.
Taxi Queues Cleared: The airport's taxi ticketing system issued nearly 1,800 numbers overnight. At its peak, almost 400 people waited for taxis with an average wait time of 1 hour, but the queues were largely cleared by around 4:00 AM.
