[홍콩 단속] 노스포인트 무면허 치과 불법 시술 적발… 70대 남성 체포

홍콩 보건부(DH)는 7월 23일 노스포인트와 야우마테이 지역에서 경찰과 합동으로 치과 불법 시술 단속 작전을 실시했다. 이 작전 중 노스포인트에서 72세 남성이 치과 불법 시술 혐의로 체포되었다.

 현장에서 구강 스캐너로 추정되는 기기, 치과용 의자, 치과 기구 등이 압수되었다. 관련 조사 및 증거 수집이 진행 중이며, 수집된 정보와 증거를 바탕으로 관련자들에 대한 법에 따른 기소가 진행될 예정이다.

치과의사 등록 조례(제156장)에 따르면 등록된 치과의사만이 치과 진료를 할 수 있으며, 여기에는 타인의 구강 스캐너를 이용한 디지털 인상 채득도 포함된다.

 등록된 치과의사가 아닌 사람이 관련 서비스를 제공하는 것은 범죄이며, 최대 5년의 징역형에 처해진다. 만약 이러한 행위로 인해 인명 피해가 발생할 경우, 가해자는 최대 7년의 징역형에 처해질 수 있다. 미등록자를 고용하여 치과 서비스를 제공하는 고용주 또한 범죄를 저지르는 것이며, 최대 3년의 징역형에 처해진다.

보건부는 시민들이 자신의 건강을 보호하기 위해 치과 진료를 받기 전, 홍콩 치과협회에서 온라인으로 제공하는 등록 치과의사 목록을 확인하여 서비스 제공자의 자격을 검증할 것을 당부했다.
