무료 구강 건강 검진
미취학(유치원) 아동 대상
보건부는 오늘 미취학 아동을 위한 새로운 구강 건강 검진 프로그램을 9월 1일부터 시작한다고 발표했다. 이 프로그램은 학생들에게 매년 무료 구강 검진과 예방 치과 치료를 교내에서 제공한다.
이 프로그램에 따라 지정된 전문 치과팀이 유치원을 방문하여 32개월 이상 참여 아동에게 무료 구강 검진 및 충치 예방을 위한 불소 도포를 제공한다. 또한, 개별 구강 건강 보고서와 부모님께 드릴 조언도 제공된다.
건강한 구강 위생 습관 형성을 위해 치과팀은 교직원을 대상으로 구강 건강 워크숍을 실시하여 교실에서 효과적으로 구강 위생 교육을 진행할 수 있도록 지원한다.
이 프로그램은 홍콩의 18개 모든 구에서 시행되며, 23개 지정 서비스 제공업체가 지역 유치원에 적극적으로 연락하여 방문 일정을 조율하고 있다. 8월 중순 현재 홍콩의 유치원 949곳 중 680곳(70% 이상)이 이 프로그램에 참여하여 수만 명의 어린이와 가족에게 혜택을 제공하고 있다.
교육부는 나머지 유치원과 학부모들에게도 이 프로그램에 참여할 것을 촉구했다. 학부모는 자녀가 다니는 유치원을 통해 직접 등록할 수 있으며, 참여를 희망하는 학교는 am3_cds@dh.gov.hk로 이메일을 보내 자세한 정보를 문의할 수 있다.
Free Oral Health Screenings
For Preschool Children
The health authorities announced today that a new oral health screening program for preschool children will begin on September 1st. This program provides students with free annual oral screenings and robust dental care on campus.
Under this program, designated dental teams visit elementary, middle, and high schools to provide free oral screenings and fluoride for cavity prevention to participants aged 32 months and older. Additionally, individual physical health consultations and drills are provided for parents.
To foster oral hygiene habits, the dental teams support oral hygiene education in the classroom, including oral health workshops for school staff.
For visits from all 18 districts of the Adventure, 23 outreach service providers are contacting local early to coordinate visit schedules. As of August, 680 out of 949 locations (over 70%) are participating in the program, benefiting tens of thousands of children and families.
During the educational period, kindergartens and academies were also urged to participate in this program. Children can register directly for the academy through the activity, and schools wishing to participate can request information by sending an email to am3_cds@dh.gov.hk.
